Welcome, I am Hector L. González, a New York City native artist for as long as I can remember. I got my encouragement and push from Ms. Lipschitz in junior high school where I grew and prepared to enter the High School of Art & Design.
Upon graduating H.S., I entered the Fashion Institute of Technology and earned a B.F.A. Specializing in illustration and graphic design.
I worked doing fashion illustrations after graduating and teaching arts & craft. I started learning computer graphics and publishing software on my own time until I was ready to make a career change into the world of publishing. I worked for a few years at Latina Magazine, the first bilingual magazine and where I developed more experience and a portfolio. I also worked for Essence, Money, Elle Girl and countless magazines.
I am now a freelance designer working in corporate/brand restructuring and web design. I also have gone back to my artistic roots and been painting again, concentrating in pet portraits.
Thank you for visiting my web page and look forward to hearing for you.
